Booking

-Your booking is not confirmed until you have completed and signed your booking form.  A deposit payment of £400 is required to secure your chosen wedding date, this will be deducted from your final balance quote.  The deposit acts as a date reservation retainer and is therefore non-refundable and only secures your date up until the completion of your trial.   

 

-A minimum booking fee of £500 is applied to every booking, including bride only bookings.  This does not include the trial.

 

-Adjustments to bookings must be made with the agreement of the Artist and with as much notice as possible. If the number in a party reduces upon the completion of a successful trial, the full original quoted amount remains payable.

-Final non-refundable balance is required, upon the completion of a successful trial to secure your date. 

 

Cancellations

-Any Postponements will incur a £100 moving fee. If Story cannot cater to your newly appointed date, all deposits paid will be retained.

 

-Refunds will only be made due to unforeseen circumstances, and are given at our discretion.

 

-In the extremely unlikely event that the Artist is unable to attend the Client’s Wedding Day/ Event due to unforeseen circumstances.  The Artist reserves the right to appoint another suitable Make Up Artist and Hair Stylist if relevant, in similar Artistry style to attend on the Artist’s behalf, to undertake the Make Up Artistry and or Hair Styling if relevant to the best of their ability. If no other Artist can be appointed the Client will be refunded the full balance (monies excluding trial costs, if relevant).

 

Travel

-Travel per job is additional, this is to cover Petrol- charged at standard 50p per mile, Parking, Congestion charge, Train or Tube fare and Taxi fare if necessary, depending on start time or as required due to previous travel arrangements.  Should accommodation be required for further afield weddings, the client would also be required to cover this.
